Procedure for Requesting Donations

 

Thank you for thinking of Wagon Wheel Nursery & Farmstand to be a part of your upcoming event. We are always happy to do what we can to help out the community that has been so supportive of our family business. Please follow the steps below when requesting a donation.

 

1. E-mail your request to dina@wagonwheelfarmstand.com or mail to: Dina Flood, Wagon Wheel Nursery & Farmstand, 927 Waltham St., Lexington, MA 02421. If you prefer to drop off your request in person, please leave request in an envelope marked “Donation Request for Dina Flood”.

 

 

2. Please be sure to include the following:

a. The date of the event
b. Your specific request
c. When you would like to pick up your requested donation item
d. Organization name and whom the money raised will benefit
e. Organization Tax ID #
f. Contact info – name, phone, email
g. What, if any, donation Wagon Wheel has given in the past.

 

3. PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 3 WEEKS FOR A RESPONSE.

Each year, Wagon Wheel donates to hundreds of wonderful organizations . These include the Lexington and Waltham Public Schools as well as many other Charter, Private and Pre-schools, non-profit community groups, faith organizations, disease research and cure organizations, law-enforcement agencies, family hardship funds, scholarship funds and myriads of others.

Every request is thoughtfully considered, but due to the overwhelming number of requests we receive, we must sometimes limit our charitable efforts towards local groups only. In return, all we ask is for you, our patrons to spread the good word about Wagon Wheel to your members, friends and family so that we can continue give back to our compassionate community. Thank you for your efforts!

 

Looking for another fundraising opportunity? Ask about our receipt program. We would be glad to set up a program where Wagon Wheel gives back a percentage of sales to your organization just for encouraging members to collect and submit their Wagon Wheel sales receipts.
